September 16th. Our newly appointed “Queen of Outings” Andrea, squeezed sixteen of us into a minibus, fed us her home made BaraBrith and we set off to see the big city. The principal idea was to see the “Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Blood” installation at the Tower of London. Andrea arranged a great day with a visit to Covent Garden and The London Eye. She also told us that the excellent weather had been pre-ordered, (some of us actually believed her). The poppies were just incredible! Much fun was had by all. Thanks Andrea.
